1. Who we are
This privacy policy explains how AstroEnergi ApS ("AstroEnergi", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit astroenergi.dk, contact us, or use our services.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What personal data we collect
When you contact us through our inquiry form, email or phone, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number, inquiry type, and the information you include in your message.
When we prepare an offer or carry out a project for solar systems, battery storage, EV charging, energy advisory, data centre solutions or wholesale and distribution, we may also collect:
- the address of the installation site
- property, roof and site information
- photos, drawings or plans you share with us
- electricity consumption and meter data
- information needed for grid registration, permits and documentation
When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address.
When you visit our website, we collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the time of your visit, through cookies and similar technologies (see section 8).
We do not process payments on our website and do not collect card details.

4. Who we share your data with
We only share personal data when it is needed for the purposes above:
- Shopify, which hosts our website and inquiry forms
- Email and IT service providers
- Certified electricians and installation partners, who carry out work on our projects
- Grid operators (DSO/TSO) and public authorities, for grid connection, registration and permits
- Manufacturers and suppliers, when components are sourced for your project or for warranty cases
- Our accountant and legal advisers
- Public authorities, when we are required by law
Providers who process data on our behalf do so under data processing agreements and only according to our instructions.
5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Some providers, such as Shopify, may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in Canada or the USA. In those cases the transfer is protected by an EU adequacy decision (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep your data
- Inquiries and offers that do not lead to an agreement: up to 2 years after our last contact
- Project data and documentation: for as long as needed to deliver and support the project, and during any warranty and complaint periods
- Invoices and accounting records: 5 years from the end of the financial year, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
- Cookies: according to the lifetime stated in our cookie banner
We then delete or anonymise the data.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data erased, where we are not required to keep it
- restrict our processing
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including direct marketing
- data portability
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out

8. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to make the website work, remember your preferences such as language, and, if you consent, collect statistics and support marketing.
Necessary cookies are set automatically. Statistics and marketing cookies are only used if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on our website, or by deleting cookies in your browser.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and working only with trusted providers.

We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The latest version is always available on this page.
